The Power of One Word

Qur’an – Surah Ibrahim (14:24–25):
“Have you not considered how Allah presents an example: a good word is like a good tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches reach to the sky. It produces its fruit all the time, by permission of its Lord.”

This verse is a poetic and profound metaphor for the lasting impact of kind and meaningful words—just like a tree that provides shade, beauty, and sustenance.

The more I thought about it, the more I realized something: We often get fairness and equity all wrong.
